    New series of summer cosmetic products by Amway

    Amway India introduced new collection of summer colour of cosmetics in the Bihar state. “The summer colour includes four shades of nail colour, six shades of lip colour and a range of lip-gloss.

    The products are consumed with the goodness of jojoba oil, vitamin-E and almond oil. The new lines of the natural, warm, exciting and fashionable tones of summer collection under Attitude brand name would appeal the young women.” Diptarag Bhattarcharjee, Vice President- East Region, spoke to reporters here.

    The cost of the new Attitude summer collection of lip colours is Rs 295 and it is available in six different varieties of Berry Rose, Gorgeous Wine, Peach Fantasy, Red Kids, Metallic Bronze and Truly Fuchsia. Whereas the four new Attitude nail colours Rave Peach, Bitten Berry, Hot Fuchsia and Mystic Silver are priced for Rs 199, said Bhattarcharjee attended with Area Manager, Bihar and Jharkhand.

    According to Sarbani Bhattacharya of Amway India, the beauty market pacing up in every big and small city and not just in metros. Bihar is one of the prime markets for the company as it adds about 17 percent of the sale of its products in India.

    Bhattarcharjee said, Rs 52 crore was the total revenue collection from Bihar in the 2013.

    Amway India is aiming to attain Rs. 6,000 crore turnover by 2020.

    Attending media-persons by William S Pinckney, MD and Chief Executive Officer, Amway India at company’s contract manufacturing facility on Thursday, said:.

    “Direct selling market in India is showing a healthy and balanced development, which is in around 22 %.”.

    “Besides, world-class high quality item, allowing internet orders coupled by normal TELEVISION campaigns, have been significant growth motorists for Amway. Going by the marketplace trend, we are aiming to touch Rs. 6,000 crore by 2020.”.

    To meet the increasing demand, Amway announced its initial Greenfield production center in the nation with a financial investment of Rs. 550 crore.

    Amway India made a turnover of Rs 2288 crore for the fiscal year 2012 with growth of over 20 %.

    In 2012 Amway did Rs 100 crore business from Gujarat, against Rs 85 crore in 2011 and Rs 67 crore in 2010.

    Sandeep Prakash, Associate Vice Head of state, Amway India West stated, “The double-digit growth for the last 5 years is buoyed by the launch of products in health and beauty, penetration of items in semi urban and rural markets of the state and the remarkable effort put by the suppliers.”.

    Currently Amway has 135 offices pan-India out of that, 50 % of Amway offices are in villages and cities. Amway is rising and getting optimistic results in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Delhi & UP.

    It is expected that Amway’s first new Tamil Nadu facility to commence manufacturing by mid-2015 and the same would  cut its dependency on imports for premium Artistry brand of products. Currently India contributed total 5 % of company volumes in 2012, where as China provided near 35 %.
